i.sd Pre-Diploma Studio is an intense and inspiring working environment for students to develop their individual master thesis within the research field of i.sd. Possible topics range from architectural proposals that innovate typologies, structures and performances of buildings through computational aesthetics and design strategies to prototypes or 1:1 mock-ups  in material-based design and robotic fabrication. The Pre-Diploma module consists of a design studio where students aquire the skills and methods to develop their individual master thesis project, a thesis seminar where they formulate their architectural idea and put it into relation to the relevant discourse and a “communication and dissemination” seminar where students are presenting their work throughout the academic year to international reviewers.
