Mathias Bank defends his PhD Thesis Autocomplete Architecture in front of a panel consisting of Prof. Benjamin Dillenburger (ETH), Prof. Urs Hirschberg (TU Graz), Prof. Stefan Rutzinger, Prof. Kristina Schinegger.

His interdisciplinary work deals with the integration of AI in the early design phase, in particular autocomplete and suggestive design workflows based on data sets of canonical architectural designs and buildings.

Mathias developed his PhD thesis as part of the SFB Advanced Computational Design in Subproject 3 – Computational Immediacy as an interdisciplinary cooperation with Subproject 2 at TU Vienna.

The research was funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF, SFB Advanced Computational Design Project F077.
